Its that time of the year – one container after the next gets unloaded and warehouses get stocked full of new products. First up for our 2016 coverage is a new case goods line called H&M Occasional from leather furniture manufacturer Hancock & Moore. Comprised of accent tables, chests of drawers, and shelving units made from a diverse range of materials – leather, glass, wood, antique brass, metal, shagreen, hammered iron – the collection has an eclectic look with inspirations from different eras and styles.
The collection is proportionately scaled with smaller footprints to fit urban settings. Pieces like the textured nickel console table that measures 10” deep but offers 72” and 36” width or the ribbed steel accent table that only measures 12” in diameter and 22” tall but its steel composition maintain stability without getting easily knocked over.
We’re pumped that our insiders are going to see the design and craft qualities beyond H&M’s handcrafted leather furniture. Stay tuned for sneak peaks of the other 40+ releases on our social feeds.
