Okay so lighting doesn’t exactly get me hot and bothered in general and outdoor lights, not even remotely BUT ….
Its practical, well, beyond practical; like everyone needs it to see so more of a basic necessity and yet it goes on my list as one of the most annoying things to buy. Why? Because I can never find what I want without wasting copious amounts of time and that is something I (and probably you) have very little of. So when one of our vendors came to Remote Stylist wth a 50% off lighting offer for Black Friday and Cyber Monday my initial thought was ok and we adjusted things accordingly but it wasn’t until now though that I actually looked through the 1000+ lighting options they have because I was slammed doing other things.
Yeah that’s not me but that’s how i felt! Long story short – OMG – there are some fabulous options in there, and hey Canada the names will make you laugh and when you dig deep and see whose behind it like the legend that was Steven & Chris and Jo Alcorn among others you’ll get the nods to Bay St, Etobicoke in the names.

Its always more function that fashion and majority of people don’t even notice so in an effort to impress in case someone does but light what will always be a dark path by night average joe isn’t blowing the bank roll in this category, like s/he might if it were your dining chandelier. FACT: People just don’t loose their mind over outdoor lights! But I just did. These options go the top of my #kellyapproved list and better yet they are 50% through Cyber Monday … how can you resist?!
Um I think I just died and went to heaven … sleek, sexy, and love the tone. Everything screams perfect a about this light, including the fact it’s $147 US until Monday!
LOVE the lines on this – could go vintage, could go classic … cottages, cabins, chalets, homes. I suddenly have an urge to go skiing – only to see these in action from a snowy outdoor fire! At $140 US …come on!
We get asked all the time for a classic staple … this would be it and it’s just $66USD! Non discreet, functional, contemporary and amazingly priced … all signs point to yes – on any house!
Warm climate or cold I’ve got a thing for covered porches (minus the light they actually let inside the diggs of course). Honestly could use this guy indoors or out but I love love love – in black or rust, and hello $137 USD right now!!
I love these too .. for a more contemporary than contemporary look … some might call it modern but I just call it the right amount of different. Better yet (and like most of the above) they come with bulbs going down at $79 USD (above) or up and down at $88 USD (below). What a bargain!!
I seriously have the urge to build a new house and put multiples of these everywhere…. 2016 goals. Which is your favorite?
