Sunday – again! Where do the weekends go. A quick Sunday Funday love …
We won’t deny the fact it’s got a bit of a whacky design style, but once you sit in it you won’t care … like remotely! We sat in this chair in NY many years ago and are pleased as punch that it’s still in the line up this many years later.
With it’s glam 60s style, its a combo of modern design and seriously DREAMY comfort, well made of course because its made by our friends over at Global Views (who are they? Catch the backstory on their obsession with quality here). So Mimi has got this barrel seat that when you sit down you snuggle right into; it’s like a visit to the best chiro around. The perfect mix of lean, arm positioning and ‘floating’ pitch; I seriously couldn’t get out (and SO wish I could find the picture because there IS photo evidence).
Then it’s got this incredibly SOFT leather (top grain cowhide but of course)
This all on top of a three legged walnut-finished bracket base with finials. 
I so wish I was spending today in Mimi … dying for a space in my house that has room for 4 of these and a circular table in the middle, next to a roaring fire (I must be into winter already!!) but a perfect way to spend a Sunday indeed.
