In the spirit of the holidays we wanted to share the Homes from the Holiday Halifax tour that one of our Halifax, Nova Scotia Stylists, Michele Muir, who also runs a paint shop Hue Design Studio, participated in.
A fundraiser for the Junior League of Halifax, the event brings together local designers and decorators, league members, volunteers and retailers to decorate and showcase three beautiful homes graciously loaned to us by local homeowners. Tour ticket holders get a dose of glam holiday inspiration, traditional Christmas magic and the opportunity to bring ideas to life in their own homes. Here’s a look at her home

“Our house was a Victorian Craftsman owned by one of the most fascinating women I have ever met. Since she and her late husband purchased the home in 1942, they avidly began curating a beautiful collection of antiques and art. Avid supporters of the NS College of Art & Design, many of the pieces in their home are creations of students as well as local artisans. The eccentric personality and excellent taste of the home owner is reflected in every corner.”
