Hot off the press in the furniture world this week.

With the next Highpoint Market just 3 weeks away new product previews are being launched left right and center.  A few sneak peeks that caught our eye this week (we are accepting pre-orders; if you see something you must have Ask a Stylist to put you on the list)

Surya and Clairebella are launching a new line of colorful outdoor safe rugs called Miranda.  Founded by designer Kathy Denness in 2003, Clairebella grew from juvenile products into a top-selling gift line.  Known for bright colors and bold, graphic prints, the brand takes products from ordinary to extraordinary and this line of rugs is no different.

Miranda Collection - by Surya for Clairebella

Kathy’s ‘preppy meets bohemian chic’ look is fun, modern and perfect for floors indoors or out.  Hand-hooked of 100% polypropylene, the eye-catching collection includes four distinctive designs, each of which is available in multiple colors

Super cool on any floor.  They come in standard rug sizes and will be available for sale mid-April.

Hancock & Moore hits the light and airy button with its upholstery pieces.  The Paula chair (left) features double-stitch quilting along the inside back. A pair of Serpentine chairs (top right) highlight a leather/fabric combination styling. The Zane chair (bottom right) features a bold animal print leather with high sheen.

Related brand Jessica Charles is launching four new chairs this market.  The Mamie, Hollans, and Estate chairs pair mid-century frames with light fabric and finishes  – all spectacular.

Their Paloma dining chairs (bottom left) are getting a fresh update in a leather/fabric combination.

The bestselling Lexie lounge chair (above right) shows its bold side in a modern geometric print (YES!), alongside the new Ginny sleeper disguised as a sofa (most impressive — certainly not your typical pull-out).  We can’t wait to see the full reveal!

The first of Dorya’s new collection is top notch.  The Como Mini Sideboard goes perfectly atop the staircase landing, near the front door …you get the idea. Love it’s skinny demilune shape and gold hardware but drooling over the marble top meets walnut (or mahogany) veneer bottom.

We are continually asked for dining chairs and their Senem Tufted Side Chair is the perfect blend of works-everywhere and isn’t the same as your neighbors!  Transitional in style with that diamond shape tufting and nailhead trim, we can’t WAIT to see what upholstery color and fabrics this chair is done in.  Will look different every time!

We’ll be the first to admit we’ve been slow to warm up to the curved sofa configuration but their more modern Tuxedo Sofa caught our eye.  Totally different and busting with elegant curves we’re obsessing over the overall look and that base!  Of course the fabric is neutral to appeal to the masses, like its a two-seater (likely to appeal to the showroom space) but imagine the possibilities … any size, any fabric; why we’re still stuck on all things green this week is beyond us, but IMAGINE this is green velvet in a white or grey walled room – um hello!

And they hit it out of the park with their Coco Chairs too.  Living room, bedroom, entry …wherever.  This contemporary take with modern elements will look great ANYWHERE.  Fun fabrics, gunmetal finishes and nailhead trim – all customizable just how you want it.  Dying to try it .. because by all accounts it looks like it would provide great back support and we could use that around here too.

From the runway to the room, Councill is recreating paris fashion in furnishings.  Inspired by the exuberance of post-World War I Paris in the 1920s, the Garcon Buffet (left) features a striking scalloped demilune shape with a new cobblestone finish. The stately Bibliotheque shelf (right) makes a grand entrance at 118” wide and 101” high.  On a sad note parent company Hancock & Moore sold to Century Furniture and Councill is closing their North Carolina factory in June; we hope that all those affected by this transition land on their feet in one of the other companies quickly.

p1-2

Who doesn’t love diamond-quilting?!  The Zelda Bed oozes Paris with its upholstered headboard, footboard, and rails (available in a wide range of fabrics and colors of course).

Not only are we obsessed with the purpose but the name — kudos to Thomas & Gray on their ‘What Not’ Rack (below left).  It truly IS the perfect display piece for small heirlooms!  We’re also loving their Weaver’s Chair (below right) in a new Cinder finish, creating a rustic appeal – hello cabins and cottages.

p3-2

Swoon – we just want to crawl in.  Meet the Laurel (bed); in their new Olivetta finish the ornamental detail goes with EVERY space!

The products will continue to drip out in the weeks to come.  Be sure to follow us on social below to catch it the live feed.
