Fabric supplier Duralee has partnered with designer Tobi Fairley for its latest fabric collection. Joining the ranks of the company’s existing stable of designer brands that include John Robshaw, Clodagh, Thomas Paul, Eileen Kathryn Boyd and Tilton Fenwick, it will be available in April 2016. If there’s one thing we know about Tobi it’s her love of color and pattern and we are so excited to see what she comes up with! The collection is said to be a multi-colored, two-book collection of printed and woven textiles in livable, versatile designs.
Fun Starbucks fact; they buy local. Their new community tables are made in the USA; both the maple tops and steady steel legs hail from North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Hand crafted by Charleston Forge from combining age-old blacksmithing techniques with new technology, to welding steel and applying premium finishes by hand, each piece is built to order in Boone, NC a college town of about 18,000 people.
Rounding the week out with a good laugh from our friends at Pure Wow with their ‘lazy gal’s guide to making a bed’ video – enjoy!
