So this happened and I bet its happened to you too! I was lazing away this winter oceanside, between St Lucia’s majestic Pitons on Sugar Beach
… when my husband said I’m hungry. With the restaurant a mere 50 steps behind us, we made our way up the beach
then past this spectacular pool…
and into this gorgeous open-air restaurant for a bite.
The beach bag went on the floor beside me, both of our sunglasses flung across the table and onto the first matter of business: hydration. Why yes, I’d love a daquiri!
As you can see from the picture above its brighter outside and I suddenly realize the hat I’m sporting to fend off the crazy St Lucian sunburn is no longer required. Great but what to do with it? I’m definitely not interested in putting it on the floor then back on for this afternoon’s beach session, and there’s little to no room on the table as is. Just as I think ‘guess its going in my lap’ I look up to find this.
Et voila! There is something to be said for establishments that think of it all (thank you Sugar Beach!) … clearly I wasn’t the first looking for a place to house thy necessary beach possessions.
New ‘Essential’ Alert: Hat/Bag Storage
From hat’s to bags or purses we all carry stuff with us (and no, not just ladies). Light and portable these storage racks can be maneuvered around in a pinch. Obviously needed in public places like restaurants and cafes, but since it’s June might I suggest that they go straight to your deck, pool or dock for starters!
I certainly can’t be the only one whose tired of towels of the heap of towels left behind while those of all ages move onto their next activity?!
