If you haven’t been paying attention, market refers to High Point Market, the 5 day ‘fashion week for furniture’ in North Carolina that happens twice a year – in April and October.  It’s where a few hundred thousand furniture manufacturers, retailers, designers and media go to see what’s been developed behind the scenes and how that will be parlayed into trends for the 2015/2016 seasons.  Breaking it down its where that coffee table in your living room started its journey …to your living room; its the end all and be all of the furniture world.
